Level 1 - Officials that Officiated for the first time in 2024 (Level 1)

Level 2 / Level 3  - For Officials over 16 years of age, with a minimum two years Officiating experience (Level 2) or for Officials over 18 years of age, with minimum four years Officiating experience (Level 3)

Level 4/5/6 (Uber Clinic) - This clinic is for Officials over 18 years of age, with minimum four years Officiating experience that have shown a competency on floor at the U17A division.  This clinic is by invitation only.  If you meet the criteria above, have not yet been invited, and believe you should, please email VP Member Services to inquire as to your potential attendance.

For the 2025 lacrosse season, the ALRA has decided to change the structure of our Entry Level and Level One clinics.  The focus will shift away from an exam-centered approach to a student-centered approach that accommodates various and unique learning styles.  The exams will no longer be the primary objective; instead, they will be just a small part of the overall experience. Registrants will have numerous tools to assist them during the exam process, such as the exam being open book, being able to use the clinic material they were provided, collaborating with peers, and receiving guidance from the facilitator to enhance their understanding of the material (questions are welcome and expected).

This portion of the training will now take significantly less time, allowing us to move on to the exciting, and vital, on-floor sessions.  Here, the Officials will be introduced to the fun and interactive aspects of the game, which is designed to help build their confidence and hopefully ensure a successful season.  The on-floor session will involve multiple facilitators and will be designed to be completed alongside peers, creating an easy-to-understand learning environment that is rich in educational depth.

- the exams require a 50% grade for the Entry Level and Level 1 (higher for L2 and L3) and will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour

This this new method of providing out EL/L1 clinics is designed to be enjoyable and stress-free while providing the registrants with the essential skills they need to succeed as an Official.

For our Level 2 and Level 3 Officials, we will be offering the same format, however an on-floor session will not be required.  Again, you will be registering for a review/written exam date, not a physical/virtual clinic.

For our senior Officials, for those wish to attend, we will be running the Uber Clinic in conjunction with the RMLL Coaches Clinic as we have in the past.

Registration Closes on the Wednesday the week of the clinic at 11:59PM.

- Example: A test date on Saturday, March 4 will have its registration close on Wednesday, March 1 at 11:59PM.

- Example: A test date on Sunday, March 5 will have its registration close on Wednesday, March 1 at 11:59PM.

- Clinic registration may close ahead of the registration deadline based on number of registrants. If you are still considering registering this season you should do so sooner than later.

- Clinic registration closes so that our Executive team can prepare background checks, equipment orders, and our assigning platform.
